Us Sports Desk: The future of Jaden Rashada with the Georgia Bulldogs remains uncertain as the quarterback continues to evaluate his options ahead of the spring transfer portal window.
Despite entering the transfer portal a few weeks ago, Rashada remains on Georgia’s roster, delaying his decision until spring. His agent, Jackson Zager, confirmed that Rashada is preparing for another transfer while working with a personal trainer and quarterback coach in the coming months.
Rashada’s Uncertain Journey
The four-star quarterback recruit has had a turbulent collegiate career. Initially committed to Miami, he later flipped to Florida, only to part ways with the Gators due to an NIL dispute over a reported $13 million deal. Instead, Rashada began his freshman season at Arizona State, where he played sparingly, throwing for 485 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions.
After one season in Tempe, he entered the transfer portal again and joined Georgia, but found himself buried on the depth chart behind Carson Beck and Gunnar Stockton. With the Bulldogs seemingly moving forward with Stockton as their starter for 2025, Rashada opted to explore new opportunities.
Limited Transfer Options
Rashada’s camp has had conversations with programs like UCLA and North Carolina, but no concrete offers have emerged. He has also been spotted attending Arizona State hockey and basketball games, but a return to Tempe is not expected.
With fewer schools showing strong interest, Rashada is likely to wait until the spring transfer portal opens on April 16. This 10-day window will provide him with another chance to find the right fit, as teams assess their rosters post-spring practice.

What’s Next?
If no suitable destination emerges, a return to Georgia remains a possibility. However, it would be Rashada’s third program in three years, raising questions about his long-term stability.
As a recruit, On3 ranked him No. 73 overall and the No. 6 quarterback in the class of 2023, receiving offers from TCU, Cal, and Miami, among others. Now, as the April transfer window approaches, the highly touted signal-caller faces a critical decision that could shape the rest of his college career.
Jaden Rashada (born August 31, 2003) is an American football quarterback. He previously played for the Arizona State Sun Devils and for the Georgia Bulldogs.
